These terms govern your use of our services. Please read them carefully.

1. Agreement to Terms
By using our website, visiting our shop, or using any of our services, you agree to these terms and conditions. They form part of any contract between you and Repair Alliance. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Our Services
We provide repair services for phones, tablets, laptops, computers, MacBooks, and gaming consoles. We also sell accessories including phone cases, screen protectors, chargers, cables, and computer peripherals.
All repairs are carried out at our premises at 153 Perth Rd, Dundee DD2 1AR. All services are provided with reasonable care and skill by suitably trained and qualified persons.
3. Repair Terms
- We will diagnose your device and provide a price estimate before starting any repair
- You must authorise the repair and agree to the quoted price before work begins
- All jobs are subject to diagnostic or repair fees. Please ask in advance if you want to know what is likely to be payable
- While the majority of standard repairs are typically processed in 2 days or less, some may take longer, particularly if parts have to be ordered. Repair times are estimates only and we accept no liability for the length of time taken to carry out a repair
- We will make every possible effort to preserve your data, however we make no guarantees that data will be intact after your device has been repaired and tested. You should back up your device before bringing it in
- If your device develops a fault during our repair work, we will do our best to remedy the problem at no extra cost unless additional parts are required
4. Uncollected Devices
- All devices must be collected within 14 days from the time you are informed that the repair is complete or the device has been declared irreparable
- After 14 days, we reserve the right to charge a storage fee of £3 per day
- Devices not collected within 8 weeks will be recycled for parts and you will lose ownership of the device
5. Warranty
- All repairs come with a 90-day warranty covering the specific fault repaired
- The warranty does not cover new faults, physical damage, liquid damage, or software issues unrelated to the original repair
- The warranty is void if the device has been opened or repaired by a third party after our repair
- Warranty claims must be made in person at our shop
- Where products are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty, the warranty service will be that provided by the manufacturer and any validation procedures are your responsibility
6. Pricing and Payment
- Prices quoted are estimates and may change if additional faults are found during repair
- We will contact you for approval before carrying out any work beyond the original quote
- Payment for parts and services is due upon collection of your device
- Payment for services is non-refundable. Parts or equipment fitted or supplied will be replaced only if found faulty or covered by the manufacturer’s warranty
- We accept cash, card, and contactless payment
7. Liability
- We take reasonable care with all devices left in our possession, however we are not liable for any loss of data, revenue, or profits before, during, or after services
- Our liability of any kind with respect to services, including any negligence or delay in delivery, shall be limited to the quoted price for the services
- You must be aware of the inherent risks of damage to equipment involved in repairs, including risks due to destruction or damage to the device and/or data stored on it
- While we make every effort to preserve the integrity of your device, you agree not to hold us responsible for any accidental damage including but not limited to surface scratches, deformations, and cracks
- In order to gain access to and/or repair the faulty part of your device, it is occasionally necessary that further damage may occur (e.g. to the case or fascia). You accept that there may be further charges to rectify this
- In case of any damage or loss to the original device, our liability shall be limited to providing you with similar equipment of comparable price or capacity
- We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses
8. Confidentiality
Both parties shall treat as confidential all information obtained from the other which is specifically designated as confidential or proprietary. Neither party shall divulge such information to any person without the other party’s prior written consent.
9. Your Responsibilities
- You must ensure you are the legal owner of any device brought in for repair, or have the owner’s authorisation
- You must back up your data before leaving your device with us
- You must collect your device promptly after being notified that the repair is complete
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
