The iPad Air 2 (A1566, A1567) was released in 2014 as the first fully laminated iPad with anti-reflective coating. It features an 9.7-inch 2048x1536 fully laminated Retina display powered by the Apple A8X chip. At just 6.1mm thick, it was the thinnest iPad ever made. The fully laminated display bonded the glass directly to the LCD, eliminating the air gap. We repair every component at our Perth Road workshop in Dundee.
