The iPad Pro 12.9" (6th Gen) (A2436, A2437, A2764, A2766) was released in 2022 as the M2 XDR Pro with Apple Pencil hover and WiFi 6E. It features an 12.9-inch 2732x2048 Liquid Retina XDR mini-LED ProMotion display powered by the Apple M2 chip. Building on the 5th Gen's XDR display, it added M2 silicon, Apple Pencil hover detection, and WiFi 6E. The last 12.9-inch iPad Pro before Apple moved to 13-inch OLED.
