About the iPad Pro 9.7″
The iPad Pro 9.7" (A1673, A1674, A1675) was released in 2016 as the first 9.7-inch Pro with True Tone display. It features an 9.7-inch 2048x1536 fully laminated True Tone Retina display powered by the Apple A9X chip. It brought Pro features to the popular 9.7-inch size, including True Tone display technology (an industry first), Apple Pencil support, and a 12MP camera. We repair every component at our Perth Road workshop in Dundee.
Common iPad Pro 9.7" repairs include cracked laminated display (full assembly replacement), Touch ID failure, Lightning port damage, and battery degradation. The True Tone display and laminated construction mean screen repairs require the complete display assembly. The 12MP camera was the best fitted to any iPad at the time. My iPad Pro 9.7" won't charge properly - can you fix that?
Aye, charging issues are one of the most common iPad Pro 9.7" problems we see. Sometimes a good clean sorts it, other times the port needs replacing. Either way, bring it in and we'll have a look - we ken whit we're daein with Lightning repairs.
My iPad Pro 9.7" Touch ID stopped working - can you fix it?
Touch ID on the iPad Pro 9.7" is paired to the logic board at the factory, so the actual sensor button cannae be swapped for a new one without losing fingerprint functionality.
