The iPhone 15 Plus (models A2847, A3093, A3094, A3096) combined the big-screen experience with the iPhone 15's generational upgrades when it launched in September 2023. The 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR OLED with Dynamic Island delivered an immersive viewing experience, and the switch to USB-C brought universal charging and faster data transfer. The A16 Bionic chip kept everything smooth, and the 48MP main camera with 2x telephoto crop took excellent photos. The 4383 mAh battery delivered the best battery life in the entire iPhone 15 lineup, comfortably lasting a full day of heavy use. Available in five colour-infused back glass options. The iPhone 15 Plus is popular with folk who want the largest screen without Pro pricing, and we see them at our West End workshop. Cracked screens are the main repair. The 6.7-inch panel has more surface area to catch a bad drop. The USB-C port is more robust than Lightning but can still get damaged or accumulate debris over time.
