About the iPhone 15 Pro
The iPhone 15 Pro (models A2848, A3101, A3102, A3104) was a landmark iPhone. The first with a titanium frame, the first with the Action button replacing the mute switch, and the first with USB-C offering USB 3 speeds for fast data transfer. Released in September 2023, the A17 Pro chip brought hardware-accelerated ray tracing for console-quality gaming, and the triple camera system gained a 48MP main sensor, 12MP ultra-wide, and 3x optical zoom telephoto. The 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED with ProMotion 120Hz and Always-On display was framed by the lightest Pro frame Apple had ever made. Natural Titanium, Blue Titanium, White Titanium, and Black Titanium were the colour options. We repair every component at our Perth Road shop in Dundee.
The iPhone 15 Pro is a seriously impressive piece of engineering and we see growing repair demand at our West End workshop. The titanium frame is lighter and more scratch-resistant than the stainless steel on previous Pro models, but the Ceramic Shield front and glass back still crack from drops.
