About the iPhone 16 Pro
The iPhone 16 Pro (models A3083, A3292, A3293, A3294) pushed the Pro experience further with a slightly larger 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display, up from 6.1 on the 15 Pro with thinner bezels than ever. Released in September 2024, it packed the A18 Pro chip with hardware ray tracing, the Camera Control button for intuitive photography, and a 48MP Fusion camera with 48MP ultra-wide and 12MP 5x tetraprism telephoto previously exclusive to the Pro Max. The titanium frame returned in Desert Titanium, Natural Titanium, White Titanium, and Black Titanium. ProRes and Log video recording made it a proper filmmaking tool. The iPhone 16 Pro is Apple's compact powerhouse and we are already handling repairs at our West End workshop. The ProMotion OLED with Always-On display is the most premium screen component, and cracks from drops are the primary repair we see. The 5x tetraprism telephoto, now available on the Pro as well as the Pro Max, is a complex camera module.
