The iPhone XS Max (models A1921, A2101, A2102, A2103, A2104) was the biggest iPhone Apple had ever made when it arrived in September 2018. The 6.5-inch Super Retina OLED display was enormous, stretching edge to edge with HDR10 and Dolby Vision support for cinema-quality visuals. Under the hood sat the same A12 Bionic chip as the XS, with the Neural Engine handling Smart HDR photography and machine learning tasks. The dual 12MP camera system with larger sensor pixels delivered impressive low-light performance, and IP68 water resistance rated the phone for 2 metres of submersion. The XS Max remains popular with folk who want the biggest screen possible, and we see regular repair demand at our West End shop.
