The PlayStation 4 Pro (CUH-7000 series) launched in November 2016 as the enhanced PS4, delivering 4K upscaled gaming and HDR output. The upgraded 4.2 TFLOP GPU more than doubled the original PS4's graphics performance, and Boost Mode improved frame rates on older titles.
